Overview
This year, the conference actually sold out 5 weeks before it took place, and extra seats had to be created to accommodate the additional demand. The seniority of the participants was unusually high, and we were delighted to welcome a much stronger carrier contingent than in previous years. They joined Internet giants and start-ups, content and media owners, application developers, OEMs and wireless software companies.
The keynote speakers were Vint Cerf Chief Internet Evangelist Google, John Donovan CTO AT&T, Cole Brodman CTO T-Mobile, Dadi Perlmutter EVP and GM Intel Architecture Group, Jan Uddenfeldt SVP Ericsson, Kevin Lynch CTO Adobe and Michael Abbott SVP Palm. Walt Mossberg and Rich Wong moderated. They joined 80 more top ranking executives from right across the converging mobile and Internet ecosystem, including Amazon, Facebook, INQ Mobile, LG, Nokia, Verizon, Sprint, Clear, MySpace, Acer, the FCC and many more.
